Canon 5D Mark II Digital Camera Body Not Working

The camera powers on but shows a CF error asking to format the compactflash card in this camera regardless of which card is used.

It shows signs of use. The battery door is very difficult to open. Number of shutter actuations unknown.

It comes with aftermarket battery and charger.
