The lens is in outstanding condition showing minimal wear. The optics are in excellent condition. From outside it’s difficult to see any imperfections. If you want to shine a light through the lens you will see a very small amount of dust, maybe a very light amount of haze, and a few faint cleaning or coating marks. The focus is tight and when mounted on the Canon 7 feels well balanced. The aperture ring moves smoothly and clicks on every stop. This would be a great lens to convert to Leica M.
